The NIQUA SUPER Q® tool steel wheel burs “25” are precision tools designed for working soft precious metals and alloys. Their distinctive wheel shape enables highly accurate machining of flat surfaces, edges and seating areas – wherever clean planes and controlled material removal are required.
In jewellery manufacturing, this shape is primarily used for preparing and leveling stone seats, flattening surfaces and refining bearing areas. Especially in stone setting, the wheel geometry allows controlled opening and shaping of seat surfaces without affecting surrounding material. The flat face combined with sharp cutting edges ensures clean, guided cuts and precise results.
